Job summary

Scorpion Therapeutics is seeking a Senior Manager, Alliances to strengthen partner relationships and drive best practices in alliance management. You will oversee a portfolio of strategic alliance programs and guide internal teams to deliver on partnership objectives.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree with 4+ years in life sciences or related fields and experience in managing cross-functional teams. Travel up to 20% is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and 4+ years in molecular biology/clinical molecular diagnostics/oncology or related fields.
• Experience in managing multimodal real-world data, drug development/discovery, or clinical research.
• Manager-level experience or higher.
• Travel up to 20%.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and business internet tools.

Responsibilities

• Manage/oversee a portfolio of strategic alliance programs (strategic value/alliance health; due diligence, health checks, annual operating plans).
• Contract management: guide internal teams to meet partnership deliverables/objectives.
• Delivery: lead program delivery from inception to final deliverables; align workstreams, timelines, and technical performance; communicate priorities and elevate roadblocks.
• Process management: establish governance/decision-making; lead partner implementations to exceed expectations.
• Alignment/relationship management: drive continuous improvement, redesign governance, identify expansion opportunities; act as internal SME for feasible expansion (risks/resources/timelines).
• Proactive risk management: identify/assess/communicate partner needs, risks, dependencies; lead mitigation/issue resolution.
• Customer/Business Excellence: communicate value; tailor delivery; build and expand customer relationships; mentor; support forecasting.
• (When applicable) lead/motivate/coach team; manage partner operations; make data-driven decisions; support performance/talent planning/hiring.
