Job summary

The USSTRATCOM Data and Artificial Intelligence Advisor serves as a Highly Qualified Expert (HQE) and principal advisor to the Commander and senior leadership.

The role drives the strategic integration of Artificial Intelligence (AI), Machine Learning (ML), and emerging technologies to secure an asymmetric warfighting advantage and advance nuclear force modernization, while strictly enforcing "human-in-the-loop" nuclear command and control.

Qualifications

• Extensive background in AI, ML, data science and autonomous systems.
• Experience aligning initiatives with national AI acceleration efforts.
• Proven ability to overcome institutional blockers using agile methods.
• Experience advising senior leaders in wargaming and crisis scenarios.

Responsibilities

• Advise Commander and senior leadership on AI-enabled strategies.
• Integrate AI/ML tools into NC2 and nuclear force modernization.
• Lead cross-agency coordination to build consensus on AI initiatives.
