Job summary

AppleOne is seeking an experienced Aerospace Buy­er for a temp-to-hire role in Irvine, CA. You will work with cross‑functional teams to move materials for production while managing supplier performance and cost controls.

The role emphasizes aerospace procurement expertise, BOM and drawing review, and strong negotiation skills to maintain material flow and on-time delivery. A collaborative, accountable workplace is highlighted.

Qualifications

• 6–10 years of purchasing/procurement experience in aerospace or related manufacturing.
• Experience sourcing aerospace components and outside processing services.
• Strong supplier negotiations, RFQ management, and lead-time optimization.

Responsibilities

• Source and purchase aerospace components and materials to support production schedules.
• Prepare RFQs, evaluate quotes, negotiate pricing and terms.
• Manage supplier performance, delivery schedules, pricing issues and supply-chain risks.
• Review drawings, BOMs, and purchasing requirements for accurate supplier communication.
• Enter and track purchase orders in ERP, monitor open orders and shortages.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Planning, Production, Quality, and Accounting to resolve issues.
