Job summary

Stellar Solutions in El Segundo seeks a Senior Acquisition Program Manager to lead Space Force space and ground system acquisitions, coordinating with government clients, industry partners, and DoD stakeholders in a high-visibility, rapid‑response environment.

You will provide guidance on performance, cost, schedule, risk, and procurement strategy across the acquisition lifecycle, develop artifacts and reports, and communicate complex information clearly to senior decision makers.

Qualifications

• Senior Materiel Leader with strategic and tactical portfolio experience.
• Bachelor's and Master's in Electrical and/or Mechanical Engineering.
• DoD strategic leadership training (e.g., Eisenhower School).
• Proven ability to provide technical guidance at execution and strategic levels.
• Experience with OSD-level or Air Force HQ-level organizations.
• Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills.
• Proficiency delivering rapid-turn, high-quality deliverables with MS Office and GenAI tools.
• Excellent cross-functional communication and influencing skills.
• Ability to adapt to short deadlines and high-visibility tasks.

Responsibilities

• Support planning, execution, and oversight of SSC space and ground system acquisitions.
• Manage program performance, cost, schedule, risk, and contractor execution.
• Prepare and coordinate acquisition documentation per Space Force/DoD policy.
• Produce reports, briefings, and decision-support materials.
• Provide engineering and procurement expertise across segment developers.
• Drive system integration with technical leads and mission partners.
• Participate in source selections and technical proposal evaluations.
• Provide guidance at execution and enterprise-strategic levels.
• Advise leadership on acquisition strategy and risk posture.
• Engage with OSD/Air Force HQ stakeholders for cross-organizational alignment.
• Communicate complex information clearly to senior decision makers.
• Produce high-quality outputs using MS Office and GenAI platforms.
