Job summary

PIMCO, a global leader in fixed income investing, offers a 10-week Summer Internship in Global Wealth Management – Strategic Accounts Analyst. Positions are in New York, NY and Newport Beach, CA.

You must be pursuing an undergraduate degree and able to begin full-time employment from early 2028, with a minimum 3.3 GPA and English proficiency. The internship provides hands-on experience with market research, data analytics, client planning, and access to AI tools, plus a competitive hourly rate

Qualifications

• You are pursuing an undergraduate degree.
• Must be able to begin full time employment from a PIMCO office between January 2028 - August 2028.
• Must be enrolled at a university during Fall 2027 (August 2027 - December 2027).
• Minimum 3.3 cumulative GPA on a 4.0 scale at an accredited 4-year college or university.

Responsibilities

• Conducting research on market trends, competitor offerings, economic indicators, and investment products to differentiate PIMCO's solutions for clients.
• Using data analytics tools to analyze client portfolios, investment performance, and market data to service existing clients and support internal decisions.
• Assisting in developing and executing client business plans with GWM stakeholders, including sales and product strategy teams.
