Role Overview

AMDT is the world's market leader in data management for highly automated industrial enterprises. We develop software for disaster recovery, version control, change detection, and management of smart production machinery and devices used in manufacturing and industrial sectors. Our new platform, octoplant, enhances the Versiondog and AutoSave solutions, currently adopted by over 2500 companies, including leading automotive, food, water, life sciences, and mining companies. octoplant offers a vendor-independent, comprehensive view of all automation processes involving OT and IT, protecting against production downtime and data loss while significantly increasing cybersecurity. AMDT operates globally with offices in Germany, the US, and China, supported by a network of over 100 partners.

We are seeking an enthusiastic Strategic Account Manager with experience in manufacturing automation environments.

Compensation will be competitive and commensurate with experience and qualifications. Our benefits include medical, dental, vision insurance, 401k, and more. Note: Salary ranges vary by location and may include performance bonuses and incentives.

Your Tasks

Main Responsibilities:

  • Contact prospective customers within your assigned area to assess their needs and interest in our products and services.
  • Deliver sales presentations and ensure resources are prepared for effective demonstrations.
  • Maintain knowledge of our products, services, and competitors' activities.
  • Keep sales records and prepare reports as required.
  • Build and maintain positive customer relationships to maximize satisfaction and secure new and repeat sales.
  • Schedule and conduct web demonstrations, maintaining detailed notes in our lead tracking system.
  • Preferably experienced with Salesforce and Hubspot.
  • Collaborate closely with sales, marketing, customer service, and support teams.
  • Willingness and ability to work remotely, supporting virtual sales and customer interactions.
Your Profile

Requirements:

  • Associates or bachelor’s degree in business, sales, marketing, or related fields preferred.
  • 5+ years of product sales experience, preferably in manufacturing software or hardware.
  • Ability to travel up to 75%.

  • Possesses effective time management, decision-making, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Is a self-starter willing to develop and implement innovative ideas.
