Strategic Account Manager - MTDC

Location: Virtual, Georgia, United States, 30005

CommScope is looking to add a Multi-Tenant Data Center (MTDC) Strategic Account Manager to our team. This role is responsible for driving growth in CommScope’s market penetration within the Multi-Tenant Data Center market. The focus of this position is to identify and acquire new business and partnerships with sales activities, programs, and new customer onboarding.

This role will allow you to work from any major metro area in the US.

Collaboration is key as you will partner with colleagues and resources to accomplish customer solutions and interpersonal goals and effectively capitalize on opportunities.

Responsibilities:

  • Build & maintain relationships within the MTDC market and drive the achievement of sales revenue goals and new product sales goals.
  • Create and execute strategies to penetrate deeper into current strategic customers, working across multiple departments and establishing a senior management contact plan to maintain relationships at the highest levels.
  • Serve as “owner” of the commercial strategy for key accounts and develop strong relationships with key decision-makers within each client account.
  • Run the buying process at each strategic account and oversee Dynamics Funnel weekly for all handled accounts and projects.
  • Drive adoption of technology and implement program-specific call plans, pushing program-focused value propositions.

Required Qualifications:

  • Proven experience working in a technology organization with a successful track record of selling into key accounts.
  • Ability to travel up to 50%.
  • Outstanding communication and presentation skills with demonstrated ability to engage and build relationships using virtual/video conference call tools.

  • Experience selling into the MTDC market.
  • A completed Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience.
  • Self-starter, competitive drive, high energy, contagious enthusiasm, and an assertive work ethic and follow-up skills.
  • Strong oral and written presentation skills.

Our salary ranges consider various factors, including but not limited to benchmarking by independent third-party consultants, skills, years of experience, training, education, geography, and other business needs. Depending on experience, the range can be higher for candidates with outstanding experience and a demonstrated history of successful performance. This position's expected total compensation (base salary and commission range) is $138,000.00-$207,000.00.
