Job summary

Maryland Institute College of Art (MICA) is seeking a Program Coordinator in Academic Affairs to provide high-level administrative and operational support across departments. The role partners with Chairs, Directors, Deans, and the Provost's Office to ensure smooth execution of academic programs and schedules.

The position requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple complex projects while maintaining confidentiality and professional communication

Qualifications

• Associate's degree required.
• Two years of administrative or client services experience in a complex environment.
• Experience supporting multiple leaders and managing competing priorities.
• Experience with financial administration, purchasing, and budget monitoring.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and Google Workspace.
• Experience learning and using enterprise systems such as Workday or comparable ERP systems.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive administrative support to department leadership and faculty.
• Serve as primary resource for institutional systems such as Workday, Canvas, Google Workspace.
• Coordinate calendars, meetings, and communications and manage confidential records.
• Handle procurement, budgeting, purchasing, and reconciliations following policies.
• Coordinate onboarding, recruitment logistics, and campus communications.
