Job summary

Responsibilities include packing, loading, and delivering goods, as well as disassembling and assembling furniture. • Must be able to pass a background check and drug test.

Job Summary: Pay is between $22.00 - $25.00 / an hour.

A Straight Truck Driver will provide exceptional customer service as you safely prepare and ensure that our customers’ household goods are ready for transportation and delivery.

Reports to: Operations Manager

Duties/Responsibilities

• Complete an efficient pack, load and delivery of all household goods in customer’s home
• Disassemble and assemble basic furniture items to include, but not limited to, tables, chairs, bookcases, desks, beds, etc.
• Ensure to protectively pad and wrap customers belongings for safe transport
• Prevent careless and costly mistakes, including damage, injury, unhappy customers, lost equipment, etc.

Required Skills/Abilities

• Customer facing household goods experience preferred
• Must be in good health and physical condition sufficient to lift and carry 50lbs.
• Communicate professionally in English, both verbally and in writing.
• Must be able to pass a background check and drug test
• Must be able to go out of town if necessary
• Flexibility with scheduling
• Ability to maintain basic logs
• Hands-on training
