Job summary

Aesop, part of the L'Oréal Groupe, seeks a Seasonal Retail Consultant to engage customers with authentic conversations and tailor-made product experiences in our New York stores. You will demonstrate products, build regimens, and deliver the brand's premium service while upholding grooming and store standards.

You will work weekends and during peak seasons, with a focus on storytelling and exceptional customer care.

Qualifications

• Experience in a customer-focused team, ideally retail or hospitality.
• Merchant mindset with customer focus and commercial drive.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Passion for selling premium products, skincare, and fragrance.
• Physical ability to work on the sales floor and lift up to 25 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Master storytelling to connect with customers and understand needs.
• Deliver personalized customer journeys with demonstrations and regimen building.
• Lead customers to product areas and demonstrate recommendations.
• Ensure memorable departures and build lasting relationships with customers.
• Uphold grooming, retail standards, and five-senses experience.
• Complete stock, inventory, and store presentation tasks.
