Job summary

CCV is seeking a passionate Storyteller to join the Central Video Team in Peoria, AZ. You will source faith stories, build trusting relationships with ministry leaders, and shepherd storytellers through a thoughtful, pastoral process.

You’ll develop compelling narratives with pastors and editors, manage the story journey, and maintain a growing library of vetted stories for ministry impact.

Qualifications

• A strong personal faith and commitment to our church's mission, vision, and values.
• A bachelor’s degree in communications, journalism, ministry, counseling, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• At least 3 years of experience in storytelling, interviewing, ministry, communications, journalism, pastoral care, or related field.
• A genuine passion for discovering and developing compelling stories and equipping others to tell them well.
• Exceptional relational and communication skills, with the ability to listen deeply and connect with diverse people.
• Strong organizational and project-management skills, with ability to create systems and manage multiple opportunities.
• A proactive and self-sufficient approach to identify opportunities without direction.
• Ability to navigate sensitive conversations with empathy, discernment, and discretion.

Responsibilities

• Sourcing faith stories and testimonies from across campuses, ministries, groups, and community.
• Building relationships with pastors and ministry leaders to uncover stories and track movement.
• Vetting storytellers through conversations and pastoral review, ensuring care and support.
• Developing compelling stories with Teaching Pastors and Central Video Team.
• Stewarding stories from discovery through development, approval, production, and future opportunities.
• Building systems to organize the church's story pipeline and grow a library of stories.
• Equipping teams with clear story briefs, context, and timely communication.
