Job summary

Candid Studios is seeking an experienced 1099 independent contractor for wedding and event coverage in the Colorado Springs area. The role requires dual photo and video rigs, strong storytelling, and delivery of social BTS content from each assignment.

Expect tiered pay by hour (first hour $250, second hour $100, third hour onward $80/hr) plus mileage reimbursements and a firm no-guaranteed-hours structure. You provide your professional gear and manage backups.

Qualifications

• Authorized to work in the United States.
• Reliable transportation to events.
• Wedding and event shooting experience.
• Professional gear and backup-media plan required.
• Delivery bodies are 4K-capable.
• Video-lighting experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Cover weddings, engagement sessions, and events in the Colorado Springs area and surrounding metro.
• Provide social BTS content (photos/videos) from assignments when required.
• Adhere to contractor payment terms and report delivery as specified in contracts.
