Job summary

Pheasants Forever and Quail Forever are seeking a Video Production Specialist to create cinematic documentaries, educational films, and social media content that advance our conservation mission. You will drive projects from concept through delivery, collaborating with staff, volunteers, sponsors, and freelancers across the organization.

The role involves field shoots, travel, and a mix of in-studio and remote work, with demanding deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

Advanced knowledge of cameras, lenses, lighting, grip, and audio equipment for hybrid photo and video production.
Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro and Lightroom, Microsoft Office and Outlook.
Strong video journalism, documentary production, scripting, spelling, and grammar skills.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively, respond to feedback, and manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Experience coordinating vendors, approvals, quotes, asset delivery, budgets, and travel logistics.
Strong portfolio demonstrating professional, creative video production.

Responsibilities

Produce high-quality documentary, branded, educational, and social-first content that advances organizational goals.
Capture compelling stories that showcase upland habitat conservation, hunting heritage, and the impact of Pheasants Forever and Quail Forever.
Manage productions from planning and field execution through editing, review, and final delivery.
Strengthen organizational brand awareness and audience engagement through innovative visual storytelling.
Collaborate effectively with internal stakeholders while maintaining a high standard of creative excellence.
Contribute to a growing library of visual assets that support marketing, fundraising, membership, and volunteer engagement initiatives.
