Job summary

WKRC is part of Sinclair, Inc. and seeks a creative full-time News Photographer/Editor in Cincinnati. The candidate should bring 2 years of ENG experience with a network affiliate and can cover day-to-day general assignments as well as in-depth features and enterprise stories.

The ideal candidate will have strong editing skills, excellent people skills, a great work ethic, and a passion for storytelling. Must operate ENG vehicles, lift 25–50 pounds, and work under tight deadlines.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of shooting experience and knowledge of editing and video equipment.
• Team-player who can produce good stories under tight deadlines.
• Must have valid driver’s license, good driving record and be able to operate ENG news vehicles.
• Ability to edit and shoot general assignment stories, lives shots and natural sound packages.
• Must be able to lift and carry between 25 and 50 pounds on a regular basis.

Responsibilities

• Cover day-to-day general assignments, in-depth features and enterprise stories.
• Edit and shoot content for packages using non-linear editing systems.
