Job summary

Baxter & Woodman has a rewarding opportunity for a Stormwater Engineer III in our St. Augustine Florida office. The position focuses on designing municipal drainage systems, land development for private sites, and hydrologic modeling to improve stormwater management. Ideal candidates hold a B.S.

in Civil or Environmental Engineering and a Florida P.E. license. The role requires 5+ years of experience and the ability to travel within the Baxter & Woodman service area.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of relevant work experience.
• Modeling experience using ICPR4 and SWMM.
• Experience and knowledge of regulatory agency requirements pertaining to land development including stormwater design.

Responsibilities

• Design municipal drainage systems, hydraulic studies, pumping stations, pavement, and local roadways.
• Land development design of private commercial sites, residential subdivisions, recreation sites and institutional sites.
• Hydraulic and hydrologic modeling designs for drainage basins, water quality improvements and stormwater collection systems.
• Perform GIS analyses.
• Prepare stormwater master plan reports and preliminary engineering reports.
• Coordinate with municipal, county, and state clients and obtain permits.
