Job summary

BGE, Inc. in Tampa, FL seeks a Stormwater, Municipal & Utilities Engineering Project Manager for Public Works to deliver a broad range of municipal infrastructure projects including water, stormwater, wastewater and drainage systems.

Responsibilities include planning and designing water and wastewater systems with modeling, pipelines, lift stations and treatment facilities; drainage system analysis; and independent engineering assignments for municipal, residential, and commercial developments,

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in civil engineering required.
• PE license in Florida (registered) required.
• 5+ years in public works/municipal engineering with water, sewer, drainage.
• CDD experience would be a plus.

BGE Inc. is seeking a Stormwater, Municipal & Utilities Engineering Project Manager for Public Works in Tampa, FL

Job Description

• Delivery of a wide range of municipal public infrastructure projects including water, stormwater, wastewater, and drainage systems
• Plan and design water and wastewater systems including modeling, pipeline, lift stations and treatment facilities

• Independently perform engineering assignments for municipal, residential and commercial developments including regulatory permitting

Job Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in civil engineering or related field
• Registered PE in FL required
• 5+ years of experience in public works/municipal engineering environment with water, sewer, and drainage projects. Wastewater treatment design experience would be a plus
• Community Development District (CDD) experience would be a plus
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Working knowledge of Civil 3D
