Job summary

BGE, Inc. in Tampa, FL is seeking a Stormwater, Municipal & Utilities Engineering Project Manager for Public Works to lead municipal infrastructure initiatives, including water, stormwater, and drainage systems.

You will plan and design water and wastewater facilities, supervise project execution, coordinate with teams, and ensure regulatory permitting, benefiting from a strong benefits package and opportunities for professional growth.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in civil engineering or related field.
• Registered PE in FL required.
• 5+ years of experience in public works/municipal engineering.
• Experience with water, sewer, drainage projects is beneficial.
• CDD experience would be a plus

Responsibilities

• Delivery of municipal public infrastructure projects including water, stormwater, wastewater, and drainage systems.
• Plan and design water and wastewater systems including modeling, pipeline, lift stations and treatment facilities.

BGE Inc. is seeking a Stormwater, Municipal & Utilities Engineering Project Manager for Public Works in Tampa, FL

Job Description

• Delivery of a wide range of municipal public infrastructure projects including water, stormwater, wastewater, and drainage systems
• Plan and design water and wastewater systems including modeling, pipeline, lift stations and treatment facilities
• Design and analysis of drainage and stormwater systems
• Independently perform engineering assignments for municipal, residential and commercial developments including regulatory permitting

Job Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in civil engineering or related field
• Registered PE in FL required
• Previous project management experience
• 5+ years of experience in public works/municipal engineering environment with water, sewer, and drainage projects. Wastewater treatment design experience would be a plus
• Community Development District (CDD) experience would be a plus
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Working knowledge of Civil 3D
