Job summary

AQUALIS is seeking a Stormwater Inspector Team Lead to conduct routine and regulatory inspections of stormwater systems in Mount Olive, NJ, ensuring regulatory compliance and environmental stewardship. The role involves field inspections, reporting, and coordination with the Compliance team, with significant travel required.

Qualifications include a bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience, 3–5 years in stormwater/environmental tech, and strong report-writing skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or relevant work experience equivalent.
• 3-5 Years of Experience in the environmental technology, stormwater management industries
• Report writing and review experience a must
• Technical plan review, engineering oversight, and overall construction plan reading experience preferred
• Self-motivated, energetic team player with a positive attitude.
• Ability to think strategically and develop long-term plans for channels.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record required.
• OSHA 10-Hour Certification preferred.
• Stormwater inspection certifications or related environmental certifications preferred.
• Confined Space Awareness training is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct routine and regulatory inspections of stormwater management systems.
• Document maintenance and repair needs and prepare reports.
• Verify compliance with stormwater permits and local regulations.
• Coordinate with maintenance, engineering, and project management teams.
• Travel within assigned territory to perform inspections and field assessments.
