The Stormwater Field Technician is responsible for cleanup services to unkept or overgrown stormwater areas that need to be corrected. General daily scope includes (but not limited to) the following: Mowing, weed eating, cutting trees, clearing outlets, litter removal, etc.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain stormwater areas
• Operate boats, ATVs, and spray trucks in various outdoor environments
• Communicate effectively with clients and deliver excellent customer service
• Maintain accurate records of treatments and services performed

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Strong work ethic with a passion for working outdoors
• Good math and science skills
• Strong interpersonal and customer service skills
• Ability to lift 50 lbs. and carry a 40-lb. backpack sprayer throughout the day on uneven terrain
• Comfortable working around water bodies in variable weather conditions
• Must have an excellent driving record
• Ability to pass a drug screening (Drug-Free Workplace)

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with aquatic vegetation control and the use of aquatic herbicides/algaecides
• Applicator license is highly preferred
