Job summary

CRH is seeking a Stormwater Maintenance Field Inspector to inspect stormwater and wastewater systems under the supervision of an Estimator. The role supports sales with detailed inspections and project scoping, while ensuring safety and regulatory compliance in daily fieldwork.

The ideal candidate has at least 2 years in stormwater maintenance, strong analytical and communication skills, and a team-oriented mindset.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience in stormwater treatment and maintenance.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Team player who can work with cross-functional teams.
• First aid and CPR training provided by company.

Responsibilities

• Inspect stormwater systems and wastewater collection systems.
• Identify components needing repairs.
• Communicate and conduct job walks with prospective customers.
• Assist sales by providing clear inspections of the scope of work.
• Support field and internal teams to achieve goals.
• Follow all safety and operational standards and procedures.
• Coordinate with maintenance to collect project information.
• Drive, navigate, and operate company vehicles.
• Load and unload equipment and material.
• Perform routine inspections on vehicles and equipment.
• Perform percolation tests on drywells as requested.
• Present project-specific solutions to customers.
• Adhere to OSHA policies and safety first mindset.
• Complete assigned inspections on time.
• Ensure customer satisfaction on site.
• Maintain accurate inspections for scope of work.
• Submit paperwork on time.
• Improve drawings to reduce rework.
• Handle other duties as assigned.
