Job summary

Apex Companies is seeking a Stormwater Construction Technician (heavy equipment/concrete) in Harrisburg, PA. The role offers $20.00-$25.00 per hour, full-time schedule, and regional travel with a per diem; 40-55 hours weekly with a company vehicle for travel.

Responsibilities include constructing, maintaining, and repairing stormwater infrastructure and concrete structures, operating skid loaders, excavators, and dozers, and ensuring safety and regulatory compliance on diverse nationwide

Qualifications

• 2-4 years of construction experience.
• Experience with heavy equipment (skid loader, small excavator).
• Experience with repairing concrete structures, rebar, and concrete finishing.
• Prior experience with repairing and installing underground piping and detention/retention basins is a plus.
• Ability to do frequent out-of-town regional travel (85%+).
• Comfortable using pickups and equipment trailers while understanding DOT requirements.
• Valid driver’s license and safe driving record.
• Ability to pass pre-employment background and drug screen.
• Able to perform manual labor, lift and carry 60 pounds, work in confined spaces, and under inclement weather conditions.

Compensation: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour, depending on experience
