Job summary

Apex Companies, LLC is seeking a Stormwater Construction Technician to build and repair stormwater infrastructure across the country. Location: St. Louis, MO.

Compensation ranges from $20.00 to $25.00 per hour, with full-time, 40–55 hours weekly and significant travel. The role involves operating heavy equipment, concrete work, and underground piping; per diem is provided for out-of-town travel and a company vehicle is provided for travel days.

Qualifications

• 2-4 years of construction experience.
• Experience with heavy equipment (skid loader, small excavator).
• Experience with repairing concrete structures, rebar, and concrete finishing.
• Prior experience with repairing and installing underground piping and detention/retention basins is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Construct, maintain, and repair stormwater infrastructure, concrete structures, underground utilities, and stormwater basins.
• Operate hand-held, power tools and heavy construction equipment (skid loader, excavator, dozer).
• Pour and finish concrete, along with rebar and repairs to concrete structures.
• Travel is required Monday-Friday, 85% overnight travel with lodging expenses and $68 daily per diem; company vehicle provided for travel reimbursement.
