Job summary

IBP Panhandle, part of the Installed Building Products family, seeks a reliable Window Protection Installer in Pensacola, FL to install fabric hurricane panels and AstroGuard systems on residential and commercial properties.

You will measure, mark, and fit panels using blueprints and client specifications, operate power tools and hand tools, and ensure all work meets safety standards and manufacturer guidelines while delivering clear on-site communication with customers and teammates.

Qualifications

• Experience in construction, window installation, or hurricane protection systems preferred.
• Able to read and interpret measurements and installation instructions.
• Comfortable with ladders, scaffolding and various weather conditions.
• Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving skills.
• Able to lift up to 75 lbs and perform physical labor.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Dependable with a strong work ethic.

Responsibilities

• Install fabric hurricane panels and AstroGuard systems on residential and commercial properties.
• Measure and mark installation areas based on blueprints or client specifications.
• Use power and hand tools to secure panels and materials properly.
• Ensure all installations meet safety standards and manufacturer guidelines.
• Communicate clearly with customers and team members on-site.
• Maintain clean and organized work areas and company vehicles.
• Follow all company policies and OSHA safety standards.
