Job summary

Sonepar Vallen in Charlotte, NC is seeking a Storeroom Attendant on a contract basis to handle daily receiving, stocking, issuing, and cycle counting of inventory in a climate-controlled site.

This temp-to-hire role requires US citizenship, steel-toe shoes, and the ability to lift up to 25 lbs. Work is 2nd shift, 2:00 PM–11:30 PM, Mon-Fri, with RF scanner duties and inventory accuracy responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Unload, receive, and store items; check for damage and discrepancies
• Sort, label, move, and store items per sequence; optimize space
• Issue items to site employees and maintain accurate records
• Enter data to inventory systems; retrieve stock information
• Perform cycle counts and prepare reports
• Inspect tools/equipment for defects and report damage
• Deliver tools/equipment to work locations
• Use RF scanner as needed
