Job summary

The Georgia Ports Authority seeks an Administrative Manager to oversee maintenance storeroom operations, inventory control, and related reporting at Garden City Terminal. You will supervise storeroom staff, coordinate with maintenance managers, and ensure accurate purchasing and cost summaries.

This role requires strong computer skills (SAP, MS Office), prior management experience, and the ability to work night shifts or weekends as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred in business, transportation, or related field.
• 3+ years of related storeroom or maintenance inventory experience preferred.
• Strong computer skills with databases and inventory software.
• Experience supervising employees and coordinating with multiple departments.

Responsibilities

• Manages all daily storeroom activities and assigns shifts.
• Oversees inventory across multiple GPA storerooms and terminals.
• Maintains min/max inventory levels and daily records for control.
• Processes requisitions and issues for storeroom items.
• Generates reports and matches invoices to purchase orders.
• Maintains inventory catalogs, records, and safety practices.
