General Mills in Joplin, MO is hiring a Maintenance Storeroom Clerk for our 1st shift. You will receive, store, and issue parts, maintain inventory, and support a 24/7 production environment.

Starting pay is $20.50 per hour, with opportunities for advancement up to $23.48/hour. The role requires basic computer skills, experience with CMMS (Maintenance Connection, Maximo) and SAP, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in varying conditions.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Experience with CMMS systems: Maintenance Connection, Maximo, and SAP.
• 6 months minimum storeroom/parts inventory experience.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English.
• Basic computer skills to use digital tools.
• Experience in manufacturing/production environment preferred.
• Forklift experience preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to work in hot, cold, noisy, wet or dusty conditions.
• Willingness to work overtime, weekends, nights and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Receive, unpack, and input incoming orders into the computer system.
• Retrieve, store, and deliver supplies and materials from the Receiving area.
• Maintain an adequate inventory of spare parts, materials, and tools.
• Address voucher log issues and vendor discrepancies promptly and professionally.
• Order or repair parts through the CMMS after proper authorization.
• Keep the storage area organized and clean.
• Prepare packages for return shipments to suppliers/vendors.
• Maintain records and generate required reports in a timely manner.
• Participate in Continuous Improvement initiatives and training.
