Job Summary

Temporary Storeroom Attendant position located at Barnes Jewish, 90‑17‑334, Saint Louis, MO 63110. Online applications accepted only. Schedule: temporary; 1st and 2nd shifts, rotating weekends. Fixed pay rate: $16.50 per hour.

Responsibilities

• Receive, store, and inventory all departmental supplies and foodstuffs.
• Maintain sanitation and storage areas according to department guidelines.
• Record and log storage temperatures of perishable food items.
• Date, label, and rotate stock using first‑in‑first‑served procedures.
• Order food and supplies based on product specifications following company protocols.
• Secure areas to protect against theft, chemicals, and equipment; follow security procedures.
• Transport food and supplies in appropriate containers or vehicles to ensure safe delivery.
• Follow HACCP guidelines when receiving and distributing supplies.
• Report needed maintenance or repairs of equipment to proper resources.
• Complete all daily, weekly, or monthly reports as outlined in corporate policies and procedures.
• Utilize cleaning chemicals and equipment per manufacturer directions and MSDS sheets, following safety procedures.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
