Job summary

TTM Technologies, Inc. is seeking an Inventory/Stock Clerk at our East Syracuse, NY facility to read work orders, prepare materials, and maintain accurate stock records. You will verify quantities, perform cycle counts, and ensure orders are correctly stored and dispatched.

This role requires basic computer skills and familiarity with inventory systems. Work hours are 11:30AM–9:00PM, with potential for training and advancement within a global PCB manufacturer.

Qualifications

• High School degree or equivalent required.
• 1–3 years of experience in inventory or warehouse environment.
• Knowledge of inventory management processes and cycle counts.

Responsibilities

• Read, interpret and follow work orders.
• Review material for quantity and part number in system and store accordingly.
• Conduct daily cycle counts of stock room materials.
• Relocate completed or pending orders to appropriate area.
• Inspect and pick orders for shipping; complete conformance where needed.
• Report problems and discrepancies to planning and supervisor.

Work Hours: 11:30AM – 9:00PM

Scope:

Read work orders to identify components or items to be gathered for assembly. Select and prepare materials for assembly. Sort and place materials or items on racks, shelves or in bins according to predetermined sequence such as size, type, style, color or product code. Ensure work order is filled and completed. Relocate completed or pending orders in appropriate area. Record amounts of materials or items received or distributed via scanner or appropriate computer program. Driven to perform assigned tasks independently, refers problems or difficulties to Supervisor.

Duties:

• Read, interpret and follow work orders.
• Review material for quantity, part number and label, enter materials into system and place in proper storage area.
• Conduct cycle count of stock room materials daily.
• Report any problems, defective materials, questionable conditions or unsafe conditions to supervisor.
• Research and report all discrepancies to planning area and document in variance report.
• Pick orders for shipping and perform inspection functions as needed.
• Complete COC (Certificate of Conformance) as needed.
• Provide training to other employees as needed.
• Listen to and acknowledge customer requirements and take prompt, appropriate action that exceeds expectations.
• May be required to work at various work centers.

Essential Knowledge and Skills:

• Ability to perform assigned tasks independently and refer problems and difficulties to supervisor.
• Must demonstrate an in-depth knowledge of inventory management processes and procedures including cycle counts and shipping and receiving processes.
• Must demonstrate an in-depth knowledge and proficiency of internal inventory management computer applications.
• Basic computer skills and knowledge of inventory systems and spreadsheet software.
• Knowledge of Microsoft windows and related applications.

Compensation and Benefits:

Compensation ranges for roles at TTM Technologies varies depending on a wide array of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; certifications; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At TTM Technologies, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on each individual set of circumstances. A reasonable estimate of the current range is:

$37,987 - $60,044

Additional compensation: An annual or quarterly company bonus may apply based on position assignment. Positions hired for alternative shift may be eligible for a shift premium based on the assigned shift and location.

Must comply with TTM Export Control Policies and Procedures and all applicable laws including ITAR, EAR and OFAC including but not limited to: a) being able to identify ITAR product on the manufacturing floor and understand that access to these products and related technical data is restricted to only US Citizens and US Permanent Residents; b) recognition of Foreign Person visitors by badge differentiation; c) understand and follow authorization procedures for bringing foreign visitors into facilities (VAL); d) understand the Export and ITAR requirements for shipments leaving the US; e) manage vendor approvals for ITAR manufacturing and services.
