Job summary

Tractor Supply Company in Illinois seeks a Team Leader to support store leadership, coach team members, and own key sales-floor presentation areas. You will drive Legendary Service, lead shifts, and ensure Power Panels, Clipstrips, Endcaps, clothing recovery, and BOPIS/OMNI tasks are executed to standard.

The ideal candidate has retail or farming experience, supervisory ability, and strong work ethic. Must be 18+, with a valid driver’s license and willingness to work varied hours, including

Qualifications

• Retail experience and/or farming, ranching, pet/equine, or welding knowledge preferred.
• Supervisory experience preferred.
• Must be at least 18 years old and possess a valid driver’s license.
• Basic computer skills.
• Ability to read, write, and count accurately.
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to resolve issues ethically.
• Ability to perform and execute principle responsibilities of Team Members.

Responsibilities

• Maintain regular and predictable attendance.
• Work scheduled shifts and varied hours, including nights, weekends, and overtime as needed.
• Uphold and promote a safe and productive work environment by following policies and procedures.
• Deliver Legendary Service and reinforce Leading with Legendary behaviors through customer engagement, team coaching, and accountability.
• Own Power Panel execution, maintenance, replenishment, signing, and recovery.
• Own Clipstrip execution, maintenance, replenishment, signing, and recovery.
• Own Endcap execution, maintenance, signing, and recovery.
• Own full weekly Clothing Department recovery, including standards and follow-up.
• Support BOPIS/OMNI execution, including picking, staging, customer handoff, and follow-up.
• Lead assigned Team Members during shifts, including task delegation and follow-up.
• Support front-end, sales-floor, recovery, and customer engagement routines as assigned.
• Support store readiness by owning and maintaining Power Panels, Clipstrips, Endcaps, and Clothing.
• Operate cash register/computer, forklift, and other equipment; assist customers with loading purchases.
• Complete all documentation accurately and timely.
• Obtain licenses or certifications as needed.
• May be required to perform other duties as assigned.
