Job summary

PRIDE Industries is looking for a Store Worker Lead to supervise a team in a commissary on a military base, stocking shelves, merchandising products and maintaining displays to ensure a neat, salable appearance and customer satisfaction.

Under limited supervision you will prioritize tasks, train workers, monitor inventory and safety practices, and coordinate with management to ensure timely completion of duties.

Qualifications

• At least one year of stocker or merchandising experience.
• Experience with stocking/merchandising in retail environments.
• Ability to work onsite and follow safety procedures.
• Good communication and team collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Prioritize and assign tasks; coordinate work schedules.
• Maintain supplies and equipment; ensure proper operation and safety.
• Train workers in safe product use and procedures.
• Train and assist workers in duties and standards.
• Monitor progress; inspect completed work for quality.
• Investigate discrepancies; report to management with improvements.
• Monitor inventory usage and order replenishments as needed.
• Prepare records and reports as required.
• Maintain good relationships with workers and customers.
• Stock, rotate, and display merchandise; return excess stock.
• Clean shelves and fixtures; perform general cleanup.
• Operate a pallet jack or cart as needed.
• Perform other duties and special projects.
