Job summary

El Tigre Food Stores/Tex Best Travel Centers is looking for an Assistant Store Manager to ensure excellent customer service and maintain store operations in Texas. In this role, you will supervise staff, manage cash operations, and ensure compliance with policies.

The ideal candidate will have at least three years of experience in convenience store or food service environments and possess leadership abilities. Benefits include flexible schedules, exceptional training, and competitive pay.

Qualifications

• Minimum three (3) years’ experience in a Convenience Store and/or food service environments.
• Experience with professional cash handling procedures.
• Possess a Texas Alcohol Beverage Commission card to sell alcohol.
• Valid Driver License.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional and friendly assistance to customers.
• Perform basic math functions and operate cash register.
• Follow and enforce Company Policies and procedures.
• Ensure associates are compliant with policies and laws.
• Assist with regular cleaning activities to keep the store clean.
• Participate in stocking of items and marketing efforts.
• Supervise in the absence of Store Manager.
• Check in merchandise deliveries from vendors.
• Resolve customer concerns, complaints, or requests.
