Job Summary

The Store Support Teammate is responsible for fulfilling our mission statement, “to create the most enjoyable shopping experience possible for our Guests.” Additionally, this position completes a variety of sales support tasks assigned by the Store Manager.

Compensation & Benefits

• Pay range: $16.90-$18/hr

Responsibilities

• Greet guests with a friendly and engaging attitude, and answer questions regarding the store and its merchandise.
• Work a flexible schedule, including mornings, evenings, weekends, and key holidays.
• Complete guest transactions by operating POS software and bagging purchases.
• Maintain knowledge of current sales, promotions, policies, and security practices.
• Monitor and recognize security risks and prevent or handle thefts.
• Assist Operations Manager and/or Visual Merchandiser with merchandising tasks such as displays, fixture organization, markdowns, and transfers.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and shoppable store.
• Apply Buckle’s Code of Ethics and all policies, procedures, and handbooks.
• Provide high‑level guest service and foster a positive team spirit.
• Complete special projects and other duties as assigned.

Education and Experience

No prior experience or training required.

Physical Demands

The role requires standing, walking, handling, lifting up to 50 lbs, reaching, climbing, stooping, and occasionally sitting. Specific vision abilities include close and distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and focus adjustment.

Work Environment

Normally moderate noise levels in a retail store setting.
