The Buckle, Inc. is looking for a Store Support Teammate to help create an enjoyable shopping experience for Guests. The role involves assisting with merchandise, handling transactions, and upholding store standards.

Responsibilities include greeting guests, supporting store operations, and participating in merchandising tasks. This is a full-time position with comprehensive benefits and a focus on teamwork and guest service.

Responsibilities

• Greet Guests with a friendly, engaging attitude and answer questions regarding the store and merchandise.
• Work a flexible schedule including mornings, evenings, weekends, and major holidays as needed.
• Complete Guest transactions using the POS system and bag purchases.
• Maintain knowledge of current sales, promotions, policies, and security practices.
• Monitor security and theft prevention.
• Assist with merchandising tasks: displays, fixtures, price markdowns, transfers.
• Keep the store clean, organized, and shoppable.
• Follow Buckle Code of Ethics and company policies.
• Contribute to guest service and Team collaboration.
• Handle special projects as assigned.

Summary

The Store Support Teammate is responsible for fulfilling our mission statement, “to create the most enjoyable shopping experience possible for our Guests.” Additionally, this position completes a variety of sales support tasks assigned by the Store Manager.

Compensation & Benefits

Pay range: $13-$15/hr

The estimated range is the budgeted amount for this position. Final offers are based on various factors, including skill set, experience, location, qualifications and other job-related reasons.

• Time Off Vacation time is earned on a progressive schedule based on your role and years of service, starting at 80 hours or 120 hours, depending on employment status and prorated for the first partial year. Essential Duties And Responsibilities

• Greet Guests with a friendly, engaging attitude, and is equipped to answer questions regarding the store and its merchandise.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, which may include mornings, evenings, and weekends, and the day of/day after Thanksgiving and Christmas, based upon store and business needs.
• Complete Guest transactions by operating the Point of Sale (POS) software and bagging purchases.
• Maintain and share knowledge of current sales and promotions, policies regarding payment and exchanges, and security practices.
• Monitor and recognize security risks and thefts, and know how to prevent or handle these situations.
• Assist the Operations Manager and/or Visual Merchandiser in performing merchandising tasks, such as preparing displays (at heights no greater than ten feet off the ground level), organizing fixtures and shelving, completing price markdowns, and transfers.
• Consistently maintain a clean, organized and shoppable store to fulfill Buckle’s mission statement.
• Understand and apply Buckle’s Code of Ethics and all of Buckle’s policies, procedures, and handbooks.
• Fulfill mission statement by performing job duties with a high level of Guest service while contributing to a positive team spirit.
• Special projects and other duties as assigned.

Work Environment

While performing the duties of this job, the Teammate regularly works in a retail store setting. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
