Job summary

Walgreens in North Carolina is seeking a Store Key Holder to open/close the store in the manager's absence, handle cash, assist with deliveries, and ensure product readiness for the business day.

You will engage customers, resolve issues, support merchandising, pricing, and inventory accuracy, and assist with the pharmacy window when needed. Fluency in English and one year of leadership experience are required.

Qualifications

• One year of prior leadership, supervisory, or retail key holder work experience.
• Fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
• Obtain and maintain valid PTCB certification or pharmacy license as required by state.
• Knowledge of store inventory control preferred.

Responsibilities

• Open and close the store in the absence of management, including cash handling and preparing the floor for the business day.
• Process product returns, order voids, customer refunds, cash drops, and provide change at registers.
• Engage customers to deliver a distinctive customer experience and resolve issues.
• Assist with vendor deliveries and backdoor access as needed.
• Register all sales accurately, track scanning errors and price verifications.
• Support displays, pricing updates, and basic merchandising across departments.
• Maintain store cleanliness, inventory accuracy, and compliance with policies.
• Assist with pharmacy out window as requested.
• Ensure compliance with state laws on regulated products.
• Participate in training and communicate tasks when management is absent.
