Job summary

Murphy USA Inc. is hiring for a part-time Shift Lead in Valdosta, GA. The role focuses on delivering fast, friendly service, assisting customers, and supporting store operations under the Store Manager.

You’ll work with a team to meet performance goals and ensure smooth daily store functions. Benefits include daily pay, healthcare, a 401K plan with company matches, PTO, education assistance for GED, and opportunities for advancement to Assistant Manager.

Qualifications

• Must be 18+ years old (19+ in Indiana, 20+ in Kentucky, 21+ in several states).
• High school diploma or GED, or at least 6 months of related job experience.

Responsibilities

• Providing prompt, efficient, and courteous customer experience.
• Responding to and resolving customer's requests and concerns.
• Assisting customers with purchases and fuel transactions.
• Operating cash register.
• Ensure fuel and merchandise is available for customers.
• Maintaining a clean and safe environment.
• Supporting the Store Manager in all store operations.
• Helping lead the team to exceed the store's performance goals and objectives.
• Performing job related duties as assigned.
• In the absence of management provide backup duties including but not limited to completing daily/monthly paperwork, resolving problems, reviewing daily video, plan-o-gram compliance, inventory ordering, product count and equipment maintenance and training new employees

Requirements

• Must be 18+ years of age, 19 in Indiana, 20 in Kentucky and 21 in Alabama, Arkansas, Colorado, Illinois, Kansas, Mississippi, New Mexico, Tennessee, and Utah
• High school diploma / GED, or at least 6 months of related job experience
• Requires minimum 3 months of Cashier experience
• Must have valid driver's license and reliable transportation
• Must be able to perform repeated bending, standing, and reaching
• Must be able to occasionally lift up to 50 pounds
