Murphy Oil USA, Inc is hiring part-time Shift Leads in Alabama to deliver prompt, courteous service and support the Store Manager in daily operations. This role offers daily pay, healthcare, 401K with company matches, paid time off, education assistance, and opportunities to advance from Shift Lead to Assistant Manager in as little as 6 months.

• In the absence of management provide backup duties including daily/monthly paperwork, planning, inventory ordering, and training new employees.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Providing prompt, efficient, and courteous customer experience

Responding to and resolving customer's requests and concerns

Assisting customers with purchases and fuel transactions

Ensure fuel and merchandise is available for customers

Supporting the Store Manager in all store operations

Helping lead the team to exceed the store's performance goals and objectives

Performing job related duties as assigned

In the absence of management provide backup duties including but not limited to completing daily/monthly paperwork, resolving problems, reviewing daily video, plan-o-gram compliance, inventory ordering, product count and equipment maintenance and training new employees

REQUIREMENTS

Must be 18+ years of age, 19 in Indiana, 20 in Kentucky and 21 in Alabama, Arkansas, Colorado, Illinois, Kansas, Mississippi, New Mexico, Tennessee, and Utah

High school diploma / GED, or at least 6 months of related job experience

Requires minimum 3 months of Cashier experience

Must have valid driver's license and reliable transportation

Must be able to perform repeated bending, standing, and reaching

Must be able to occasionally lift up to 50 pounds
