Job summary

Murphy Oil USA, Inc seeks a part-time Shift Lead at our Centennial, Colorado stores to deliver welcoming, efficient customer service, supervise cashiers, monitor inventory, and ensure safe, clean conditions. You will help the Store Manager drive daily sales, coordinate team activities, resolve customer concerns, and support shift workflows.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or GED or at least 6 months of related job experience.
• Requires minimum 3 months of Cashier experience.

Responsibilities

• Providing prompt, efficient, and courteous customer experience.
• Responding to and resolving customers' requests and concerns.
• Assisting customers with purchases and fuel transactions.
• Operating cash register.
• Ensure fuel and merchandise is available for customers.
• Maintaining a clean and safe environment.
• Supporting the Store Manager in all store operations.
• Helping lead the team to exceed the store's performance goals and objectives.
• Performing job related duties as assigned.
• In the absence of management provide backup duties including daily/monthly paperwork, resolving problems, reviewing daily video, plan‑o‑gram compliance, inventory ordering, product count and equipment maintenance and training new employees.

Requirements

• Must be 18+ years of age, 19 in Indiana, 20 in Kentucky and 21 in Alabama, Arkansas, Colorado, Illinois, Kansas, Mississippi, New Mexico, Tennessee, and Utah


• High school diploma / GED, or at least 6 months of related job experience


• Requires minimum 3 months of Cashier experience


• Must have valid driver's license and reliable transportation


• Must be able to perform repeated bending, standing, and reaching


• Must be able to occasionally lift up to 50 pounds
