Job summary

Wegmans Food Markets in Westwood, MA is seeking a dedicated Security Specialist to protect customers and staff. You will be the link between the Asset Protection team and store leadership, working independently while delivering strong customer service.

You will prioritize safety, analyze data to reduce loss, monitor for theft, respond to emergencies, conduct investigations, and coordinate CCTV systems across the store. A sworn officer background and firearm license are required.

Qualifications

• 1+ years full-time experience as sworn police officer with arrest authority
• Valid license to carry a firearm
• Valid driver's license
• Conflict management and problem-solving skills
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Sound judgement skills and ability to manage conflict and communicate effectively under pressure
• Effective communication skills and ability to maintain composure in stressful environments
• Strong technical aptitude, including proficiency with Microsoft Office
