Job summary

H-E-B is seeking a Total Store Sanitation Specialist to maintain cleanliness and safety across departments, perform deep sanitization, manage chemical handling documentation, and support pest control efforts. You will work with store leadership to ensure SOPs are followed and sanitation standards are met while serving customers with a focus on safety and quality.

Requires 1+ years in maintenance or sanitation, HS diploma or GED, and ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or GED or equivalent required.
• 1+ years of maintenance/sanitation experience required.
• Knowledge of OSHA guidelines preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Maintain department cleanliness and safety with urgency.
• Deep clean/disinfect processing areas and equipment.
• Maintain documentation of chemical handling and sanitation verification.
• Properly use chemicals and cleaning tools.
• Follow SOPs to ensure food safety and sanitation standards.
• Communicate needs and improvements to Store Leaders.
• Assist customers in locating products when needed.
