Job summary

DICK'S Sporting Goods is seeking a Lead to champion brand standards and teammate experience in Towson. Under guidance of store leadership, the Lead is the in-store expert, delivering top service while directing teammates and ensuring adherence to store policies.

You will participate in hiring, training, and developing a people-first culture, maintaining safety and loss prevention, and fostering an inclusive, welcoming shopping environment for customers and staff.

Qualifications

• Flexible availability including nights, weekends and holidays.
• Prior retail sales experience preferred.
• Golf experience preferred.
• Ability to stand, bend, stoop, reach and lift 15 to 35 lbs repeatedly.

Responsibilities

• Lead by example to deliver a hassle-free shopping experience for customers.
• Builds a strong team by observing in-store interviews and department tours.
• Uphold brand standards, floor sets, signage, pricing and inventory presentation.
• Coach teammates on procedures and programs such as NSPP, Scorecards, LP, etc.
• Partner with store leadership to supervise operations and ensure safety and policy compliance.
• Perform other tasks as assigned by management.
