Job summary

Coast Guard Exchange Kodiak is seeking a reliable retail associate to welcome customers and assist in selecting merchandise in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Prior retail experience in inventory control and retail sales.
• Ability to routinely lift 10 pounds and occasionally lift 25 pounds and stand for long periods.

Responsibilities

• Welcome customers, maintain product knowledge and help with the selection of merchandise.
• Operate a cash register and manage daily cash shipments; monitor stock levels and price changes.
• Direct/supervise other employees and assist in store management in absence of leadership.
• Follow Loss Prevention policies and ensure safety standards are maintained.
