Job summary

The Pittsburgh Paints Company in Pittsburgh, PA is hiring for a Store Sales Associate on a full-time day shift. Starting pay is $17.00 to $18.00 per hour, depending on experience, with overtime and weekends as needed.

You will help customers with product selection, color matching, and order processing across channels, while keeping the store organized, stocked, and safe and supporting warehouse operations.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Must have a valid, unrestricted driver’s license.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 80 pounds periodically and 50 pounds regularly.
• Customer service skills with a team-oriented focus.
• Able to work flexible retail hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Connect with customers and make product recommendations.
• Mix, tint, and match paint to customer specifications.
• Learn PPC Brands and assist in-store.
• Process orders and payments via phone, in person, online, and email.
• Tinting and color matching customer requirements.
• Safely handle, load, and unload products for stocking and order fulfillment.
• Support general store operations as needed.
• Other tasks as assigned.

This position is for Full-Time Day Shift scheduled within typical store hours(Overtime and weekends as needed):

• Monday – Friday: 7am – 5pm
• Saturday: 8am – 12pm
• Sunday: Closed

• Ability to stoop, kneel, crouch, lift and carry up to 80 pounds periodically and 50 pounds regularly.
• Customer service skills with a team-oriented focus.
• Available to work flexible retail hours including evenings, weekends, holidays, and possible overtime.
• Ability to perform duties independently with minimal supervision and follow written and verbal instructions.
