Job summary

The Pittsburgh Paints Company in Fort Smith, AR is hiring a Store Sales Associate for a full-time day shift. Starting pay is $16.00–$17.00 per hour with weekly pay and full-time benefits.

You will greet customers, help with paint selection, tint, place orders, handle payments, and may assist with local deliveries. A valid driver’s license and strong customer service are required.

Evening and weekend availability is expected; training and advancement opportunities are available.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Must have a valid driver’s license in the state of residence with no restrictions and an acceptable driving record.
• Strong customer service skills with a team-oriented focus and stable job history.
• Flexible retail hours including evenings, weekends, holidays, and possible overtime.

Responsibilities

• Greet and assess the needs of wholesale and retail customers as they come into the store, offering solutions.
• Mix, tint, and match paint to customer requests.
• Safely move, load, and unload products for stocking, delivery, and order processing.
• Ensure the store is always clean and stocked with paint and other store products.

Store Sales Associate in Fort Smith, AR

Starting Pay $16.00 - $17.00 per hour.

Full-time benefits and Weekly Pay!

This position is for full-time, day shift, scheduled within store hours:

Monday – Friday: 7:00 am – 5:00 pm.

Saturday: 8:00 am – 12:00 pm.

Sunday: Closed.

As a Store Sales Associate, you will be the reason our retail and contractor customers come back into the store. Customers will be excited to see your friendly face because of the outstanding customer service you provide and the important relationships you develop with our regular and new customers every day! You will assist customers with all paint-related needs, including placing orders, product and color questions, and recommending additional products to make their job easier.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Greet and assess the needs of wholesale and retail customers as they come into the store, offering solutions.
• Mix, tint, and match paint to customer requests.
• Safely move, load, and unload products for stocking, delivery, and order processing.
• Ensure the store is always clean and stocked with paint and other store products.
• Process orders and payment requests received in-person, by phone, online, and/or email.
• Will use POS system to receive payments and cash out customers.
• May be trained to make local deliveries using a company vehicle.
• Report to the Store Manager.

Qualifications:

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Must have a valid driver’s license in the state of current residence with no restrictions and an acceptable driving record.
• Customer service skills with a team-oriented focus and stable job history.
• Available to work flexible retail hours including evenings, weekends, holidays, and possible overtime.
• We ask that you can stoop, kneel, crouch, lift, and carry up to 80 pounds periodically and 50 pounds regularly.
• Industry experience preferred but not required.
