Citi Trends is looking for a dedicated Store Sales Associate to join our team at one of the largest chains in the value-priced urban apparel industry. We're growing, so if you've ever wanted a chance to lead the way, this is it.

Responsibilities

• Processing freight
• Assisting with price changes/markdowns
• Balancing the register according to company policy
• Calling out prices for the customer when ringing a transaction
• Bags merchandise efficiently when completing a customer transaction
• Handling cash, checks and credit cards correctly and by company policy
• Obtaining management approval for returns, voids and checks when needed
• Maintaining and performing housekeeping duties as assigned
• Providing proper customer service, including greeting customers, adhering to fitting room policies, ringing up customers in a timely fashion, and inviting them to return
• Following all safety procedures
• Maintaining a professional, neat appearance, including wearing a name tag
• Assisting management in merchandising the sales floor according to stock levels
• Assisting management with tasks requested per company policy
• Explaining exchange/refund policies to customers after transactions
• Assisting Store Manager with Loss Prevention procedures, including preventing shoplifting and cash losses, reporting incidents of theft or dishonesty, and following all current operational policies

Job Requirements
