Job summary

Fresh Support, Inc. is seeking a friendly, self-motivated merchandiser to stock floral and food & beverage products at local Target stores. You will maintain displays, ensure quality, and help drive sales while communicating via company apps.

Positions are part-time with flexible shifts and occasional travel to multiple stores. Responsibilities include restocking, checking for freshness, reporting back with photos, and coordinating with store management.

Qualifications

• Experience in merchandising or floral work preferred.
• Valid driver’s license preferred.
• Availability for part-time hours and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Stock and maintain floral and food/beverage products at local Target stores.
• Check for freshness, defects, and sell-by dates; manage plant care as needed.
• Monitor inventory and display quality; ensure accurate sign placement.
• Clean surfaces and displays and follow setup schematics.
• Communicate status and photos via approved apps; report to store management after service.
• Occasional travel to multiple store locations as needed.

Fresh Support, Inc., is looking for a friendly, self-motivated, independent worker for the the merchandising of floral and food & beverage products at a local Target store in the area.

Job Summary:

Our merchandisers are responsible for the stocking and maintenance of floral and food and beverage products in local Target stores. Our merchandisers help drive sales and promote integrity by ensuring high-quality, fully stocked displays. All employees are hired on an “at-will” basis

Duties/Responsibilities:

Pull products from each store’s designated area in the back room and bring them to the display/sales floor

Check for bad flowers; check products for sell-by-date expirations or other defects. Check plant soil and water if needed

Monitor inventory levels

Display safety signs

Clean all surfaces of the display and follow standards and schematics

Clean floor around the display of any spilled water, soil, and debris.

Communicate and give reports via company-approved communication apps, including taking pictures to be uploaded to our reporting app with a smartphone. This includes: the displays before service, remaining back stock of floral and food and beverage products, any damaged items, the display after the service, vendor portal sign in/out.

Communicate to store management regarding the status of the displays when finished

Performs other related duties as assigned

Although extensive travel is not required, the job is merchandising in several different store locations. More extensive travel may be required on occasion.

Experience:

Merchandising: 1 year (Preferred but not required)

Floral/Plant: 1 year (Preferred but not required)

License/Certification:

Current Driver's License and current auto insurance is preferred

Flexible schedule (time of shift may have some flexibility, but not days)

Employees' mandatory 2026 no time off requests (will be on normal schedule, just can't request time off):

02/09 - 02/15 for Valentines Day

04/01 - 04/04 and 04/05 the Easter Holiday, No work on Easter

05/04 - 05/11 for Mother’s Day.

11/24 & 11/27 for Thanksgiving

12/16 - 12/18 Holidays

12/21 - 12/23 Holidays

12/26 After Holiday

Required Skills/Abilities:

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Knowledge of retail merchandising best practices

Creativity and a knowledge of how to best present products

Education and Experience:

Some experience with merchandising, retail sales, or floral work preferred

Valid Driver’s License required in most locations. There are certain designated metropolitan areas where public transportation negates an employee’s need of an automobile and driver’s license.

Physical Requirements:

Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at a time

Must be able to use/willing to learn to use a pallet jack and flat cart

Must have the ability to sit, stand, kneel, bend, and reach to complete assigned tasks
