Job summary

Kroger Co. is seeking a detail-oriented Store Operations support role in Glendale, WI. The position emphasizes pricing documentation accuracy, vendor testing, and comprehensive housekeeping of the store and computer room.

The role requires flexibility to work mornings, afternoons, evenings, and weekends, with duties that promote company initiatives and process improvements. Responsibilities include testing scans, maintaining reports, housekeeping, and supporting retail accounting.

• Understanding of all key components of department operations (i.e., managing people, merchandising, inventory management, shrink control, customer services, labor scheduling, expense control, etc.).
• Past work record reflects dependability and integrity.
• Knowledge of applicable laws and regulations related to employment practices, OSHA compliance, etc.

Responsibilities

• Check in and test scan all vendors and maintain pricing documentation accuracy.
• Maintain weekly ad item in scanning file.
• Provide housekeeping in computer room, including filters, floor, and power backup checks; simulate power failures monthly.
• Copy PLU File twice a week and maintain documentation on all retail accounting.
• Test scan entire store every six to eight weeks and maintain Special Report File (A.C. Nielsen, Sami, Special Item Movement Report).
• Demonstrate the ability to promote, communicate and implement company initiatives to direct reports in a positive manner.
• Willing to perform duties as assigned and work flexible hours including weekends and holidays.
