Job summary

Kroger in Louisville, KY is seeking an in-store Human Resources lead responsible for talent development, associate engagement, rewards administration, and workforce planning. This role provides store leadership support, models Kroger's values, and ensures compliance with policies while protecting confidentiality.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's or Associate degree, HR experience, proficiency with Microsoft Office, strong communication skills, and the ability to travel as needed.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Previous experience in Human Resources related activities.
• Intermediate proficiency of Microsoft Office including Excel, Word, Power Point, Outlook.
• Ability to take on tasks outside of expertise.
• Strong Oral and Written Communication skills.
• Ability to travel independently, as required.

Responsibilities

• Actively and passively recruit quality candidates to fill store level positions.
• Ensure adequate staffing to meet current and projected business needs.
• Effectively use technologies to support performance management initiatives.
• Coordinate engagement activities reaching all store associates in all departments.
• Oversee onboarding of new hires and conduct orientation.
