Job summary

Stew Leonard's is seeking a Store Manager for a full-time hourly position in New York. The role focuses on creating a clean, appealing shopping environment and maintaining exceptional customer service.

You will supervise the Building Services team, manage shift labor, and uphold sanitation standards across the store. The ideal candidate will have knowledge of sanitation codes, strong interpersonal and managerial skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with inspectors and staff.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of local/state health/sanitation codes.
• Sound computer skills and competence with in-house systems such as labor scheduling.

Responsibilities

• Provide a clean and eye-appealing environment for the customer shopping experience.
• Maintain positive relations with all customers and resolve any product or service dissatisfaction issues promptly and professionally.
• Ensure proper service levels around the store and shift labor as needed.
• Oversee the activities of the Building Services department within a single retail location.
• Maintain a professional relationship with in-house, local and state health/sanitation inspectors.
