Job summary

Tractor Supply Company in Missouri is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to lead store operations, drive sales, and deliver Legendary Customer Experience under the Store Manager's guidance. You will oversee sales, service, front-end execution, and compliance while aligning to the updated store operating model.

Must have retail leadership experience; farming, ranching, pet/equine, or welding knowledge preferred. High school diploma required; bachelor's degree preferred.

Qualifications

• Previous retail leadership experience is required.
• Farming, ranching, pet/equine, or welding knowledge is strongly preferred.
• Must be 18 years of age or older and possess a valid driver’s license.
• High school diploma or the equivalent is required.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or related field is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain regular and predictable attendance.
• Work scheduled shifts with varied hours, days, nights, weekends, and overtime.
• Deliver Legendary Service and reinforce Leading with Legendary behaviors.
• Assist the Store Manager with overall store operations, driving sales and profit.
• Perform opening and closing procedures, including cash handling and deposits.
• Resolve customer complaints and ensure a positive shopping experience.
• Lead freight movement and merchandising initiatives, inventory control, and recovery.
• Adhere to loss prevention, safety, and security standards.
