Job summary

Portagepremier in Wisconsin is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to support the Store Manager in daily operations and step in when needed. You will help drive store profitability by managing cash, inventory, and premises, assist with hiring, training, and meeting customer orders, with growth of the store as a goal.

Strong organizational skills and leadership are essential to supervise staff, maintain records, and uphold company policies across shifts.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; valid driver's license.
• DOT certification (if required in your state).
• Completion of training and at least six months of rent-to-own management or similar experience.
• Ability to lift up to 75 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Support Store Manager in daily store operations and supervise staff.
• Maintain accurate records and ensure proper cash handling and deposits.
• Assist with hiring, training, and oversight of employees.
• Coordinate customer orders, deliveries, and service work.
• Communicate with Corporate Office and other stores.
